AI and Machine Learning
The program prepares specialists in the development of intelligent systems, in machine learning and in generative artificial intelligence. Particular attention goes to the hands-on development of intelligent solutions for business, industry and the public sector.

HOW TO APPLY
Four steps to enrollment
Take the UNT
Program group B057 “Information Technology”. 70 points — fee-paying basis, 90 — the state grant competition.
Submit your documents
Register on admission.qairu.kz and fill in the application. You will need: an ID card, a school certificate or a college diploma, the UNT certificate, a 3×4 photo, medical documents and documents confirming a benefit category, if you have one.
Confirm the language of instruction
A certificate: IELTS Academic from 5.0, TOEFL iBT from 65, TOEFL ITP from 460, KAZTEST or Qazaq Resmi Test at level B1. Without a certificate — an online interview of up to 10 minutes.
Take the QAIRU Potential Test
Online, 35 minutes, 30 questions, pass score 23 out of 30, at any time of day, with online proctoring.
TUITION AND GRANTS
2 500 000 ₸ per year — or free of charge on a grant
The state grant covers the tuition in full: you need a UNT score of 90 or higher in group B057 and participation in the general competition. The QAIRU Founder’s Grant is the university’s own competition and covers 100% of the tuition. Taking part in one does not stop you taking part in the other.
